Discords new android update.
Discord has recently gotten an new update and there is nothing in it that I see as an improvement. The easily accessible tabs are harder to get to, messaging is slower, and the font was made different despite the ability to change it manually in the settings. There really was no point in this update. In fact, it makes everything run worse. Not to mention it is not as visually attractive. I'm not happy with this update and as I hope we can get back to the better, older version because this is beyong frustrating.

Dear Discord devs: if you want to reduce down to one code base, use Flutter like any sane person would in 2022. React Native is garbage for performance. Thank you.

I completely agree with this!
I have no idea how that unoptimized React Native garbage made it past quality checks, it's horrible!The performance of the app went from good to unusable, it's not acceptable.
Everything lags to the point that inputs are skipped; this app is now TRASH.I used this tutorial on how to revert back to the old native android style app, and I'm sticking to it!
