HTTPS-Only Bots: Status Icons
I have a number of bots that are only operated via "interactions" and entirely over HTTPS, but all of them have no status icon/colour due to how Discord's infrastructure displays them at-present. Sometimes they appear as offline when they are actually online and vice-versa and under the incorrect member list headings.
One would like to ask that can it be made optional that the PONG responses can include a status value, such as 1 for online, 2 for idle and 3 for DND (0 meaning no icon)? In the event of any given bot using both HTTPS and the Gateway, prioritise what was received over the Gateway?
This way, it can save a developer like me a lot of time by having my bots indicate their own statuses to me without the undesirable prospect that I have to respond to service status queries all the time.

If an HTTP only bot is displaying as offline, it isn't responding to PING requests, and is therefore correctly displayed as offline

You're completely missing the point donovan_dmc; the meat of my feedback request is about accurate status of "online" bots that are operating entirely over HTTPS.

If they have a bot user and are correctly responding to pings they will have an online indicator just as any other bot would

Thanks for sharing that information.
