Channels & Roles, Crashing servers

I am responsible for a server with 700,000 members (discord.gg/gou), we have thousands of rooms and voice channels that are being used at all times. After the update where this new tool was added to the server, it caused many problems with crashes, where users are having a frozen screen and discord ends up restarting, especially for new users. This happens both on the computer and on the cell phone, even for those who have good hardware. I believe that discord still does not have a structure for this to work well on high demand servers, I would like to have an option where server administrators could choose whether or not they want this function within the community.
