Allow Docking/Undocking of Individual 'Go Live' Streams
Currently Discord has implementation for a user to pop-out the stream player from the client, which encompasses all streams in a voice channel. This only allows a user to view all streams in one window (Grid or Focus mode). What if there was an implementation for a stream dock in place of the stream player to manage individual streams?
Say the stream player is now considered a dock and streams are docked by default. A user is then able to undock streams into individual windows by either right-clicking the stream for the Undock option or clicking an Undock icon that would appear with the other icon sets on a user's stream (I'm sure other accessibilities would need to be implemented as well). An undocked stream would then have the same layout as a pop-out stream currently does, with a new option to Dock the stream back into the main client, and can be moved around and resized in its own window.
Alongside this, maybe having a way to create multiple docks that could be managed in their or windows, allowing for click-and-drag of streams between docks?
EDIT 1: Found another post from a while back mentioning a similar function with webcams and resizing within a grid. Definitely something that would pair well with this.
EDIT 2: Bumping this post as well because it's well-worded and encompasses the same ideas as this post.
Cheers!
