What I an the community dislike about the rebrand.

I have attempted to compile what I have perceived as what the community dislikes about the new discord rebrand into a single post without being rude about it. Logo: To start off, I think the logo is fine. Some have said it is too generic, but from afar it looks nearly identical to the old logo, and the better printing I think justifies it, though I think bringing back the chat bubble in a few areas as an accent to the logo might be nice. Colors: while the new colors look very nice, in the app usage they are not very good. The colors, being much more saturated than before, can be annoying to look at for long times, sometimes causing headaches, especially for some people with autism, compared to the old colors which were much smoother and easier on the eyes, especially after looking at a screen for hours. If the goal with the colors was to assist people with vision problems (which they do well at), then add a slider to enable the new colors. The new green can also be a little hard to identify in dark mode, and the new blue is also quite close in resemblance to Facebook’s blue, which is less than optimal for branding. Font: the new font is very bad. It is hard to read, especially when vertically compressed on the example given on the discord twitter page. It also resembles other iconic fonts such as Fortnite, or some other generic kids movie titles. It also doesn’t look very clean in the titles of discord servers and such. Many people seem to have a great dislike in the new font, especially because there was nothing wrong with the old one; it was very easy to read and was distinctly identifiable as the discord font when you see it in the logo. Overall, the new Clyde logo is ok, the new colors are oversaturated and straining on the eyes, and the new font is generic and very bad. Please consider this feedback, the community loves discord and wants to not only see it succeed, but also make it the best it can be. Thank you!
