A more respectful feedback report on the new UI design

I voice my concern about the new design of the logo and icon for Discord. Most members of this platform enjoy being a part of it because of its originality and Discords own personality. The adjustments made to both the logo icon and text are plain, and incredibly similar to other social platforms. This community likes originality, we choose this platform because we prefer it over all others. Please take into consideration how the members of this platform love it for what it is, both functionality wise as well as aesthetically, and stay original, instead of mimicing other platforms. Thank you.

Edit: A good alternative would be to let us choose if we want the old overlay design, or the new, not so liked overlay. But please, something has to be done regarding this.

I agree 1000%, I also thought that maybe they should add something like a “theme customization” for people that don’t like The be bright people color (like myself). Let us choose off a color wheel like we can with roles to make the app more suited for what we want.
