Android App Problems + Suggestions
1. Despite having in-app browser selected, every link opens in my normal web browser. It didn't used to do this, so it's extra frustrating, especially when i have my normal web browser open to a specific tab and then lose said tab because Discord opened a different tab.
2. It will randomly glitch and take me into DMs or a previous channel when I attempt to switch servers or channels.
3. It has random problems where it says I'm not connected to the internet.
4. If I switch between apps, it will randomly take me back to where I was when I first opened the app, instead of where I left off.
5. I haven't been getting notifications when I have message requests, even if I'm in the app at the time the message request is received.
6. When I try to add an image, it takes me to my “Recent” album (not the one I used most recently, but the one *labeled* recent) instead of all of my photos. That would be fine, if it had all of my recent pictures, but it doesn't. And then when I click on all albums, it takes me to the files screen, and it's a pain to get to what I need. I end up opening gallery, which I wouldn't need to do if it just automatically opened to my pictures the way that it USED to do. You don't even know what folder is open until you try to scroll and it swipes up for you (which is ALSO) a pain.
Some suggestions beyond that:
1. Allow the option to receive notifications from large servers, even when not tagged (I have a few that don't always remember to tag @\everyone)
2. Allow users who aren't mods to set words/terms/phrases they would like to be pinged for.
3. Allow the option to turn off super reactions. (The button is really easy to hit accidentally, and sometimes you swipe without meaning to and lose your place scrolling.)
4. Allow the option to turn off the banners for messages in other channels, as it blocks your navigation interface.
5. Allow scrolling on emoji search (at current, if my search is large enough, emojis end up behind my back/home/recent apps buttons and I can't scroll to access them, even if I want to use them.)
6. If you give your friend a custom nickname in DMs, allow that name to show up for you in shared servers (make it a choice to have that or not, as some people change names for the fun of it and some people may want to see the change while others may just want consistency of who is who.)
7. ALLOW RE-SPOILERING OF CONTENT WITHOUT CLOSING THE APP ENTIRELY. The amount of times I've clicked on something that I don't want other people to see and someone comes up to me, forcing me to close the app entirely, is ridiculous. (There should also be an option for this on desktop)
8. On both mobile and desktop/web, allow editing messages to spoiler images so you don't have to delete and re-post.
9. On both mobile and desktop/web, allow the removal and addition of photos when editing a message.
10. Allow the option for message box to expand as you type so you have a better idea of how long the message is and can easily switch locations to a previous part if you need to make minor edits. (Not everyone would want the whole box to take up their screen, hence the option)
11. Allow the option to re-order the stickers/emoji in your tray. The random organization means i have to scroll further to get to whatever server I was looking for, and I would rather organize by what servers I use stickers/emoji from most frequently (not just having the most used area, as that is limited), or by what I'm most likely to use in a specific server (example: I'm in multiple servers for the same fandom. In those cases, I would prioritize those stickers/emoji over the discord standard or from game servers.)
12. Allow the customization of bot images (example: carl-bot could have a different image more pertinent to season or server purpose.)
13. Allow the option to have servers with unread messages appear at the top of the server tray.
14. Allow custom color themes for the app, not just the preset “customs,” and allow previews/examples of the theme on the screens of the app (ie. Settings, channels, dms, notifications, friends, etc.)
15. Allow the ability to add custom stickers to the server on mobile, not just desktop. If you can add emoji, you should be able to add stickers.
Notice that all of the requests that would have a large impact on user experience say OPTION (Sorry for caps. This box has been a nightmare to deal with and I'm not in the mood to play with italics again. If you control the way the box works, it has some SERIOUS bugs.) and not definitely implement the feature. Give the users a CHOICE of whether or not to use it, the same way you do with an in-app browser (despite that currently NOT WORKING.)

Oh, something else I've had an issue with lately: allow notifications to be customized by device. Currently, if I want to receive discord notifications on my watch, I have to receive all of my discord notifications, when I would only want my DMs or tags on my watch because those are more urgent. My phone can accept the other notifications, but my watch would never stop going off if I allowed all of that through.
The second thing, I am unsure if it's a discord fix or an android fix, but i would prefer after discord has a certain number of notifications that they all condense into one icon on the tray. Currently, it does that for channels, but not for the whole of discord, so i still end up with a large number of discord icons hiding my other notifications.
Third, I'm not receiving notifications for message requests, which means they sit there for who knows how long before i actually see them.
