New UI is inaccessible

Let me start this post by saying I've been trying to use the new UI on mobile for a little while, now.

The only reason I've been able to get around somehow is because I've been on Discord for years. Someone new who just got on Discord would struggle to find their way around – and I've heard comments from those who HAVE been here for a while that it's nearly impossible to use mobile now with the new UI. 

It's not instinctive like it was, before. That's the main problem.

The previous UI worked perfectly. It was easy to get around, to understand where things were, to get to your DMs and Servers quickly. Now with the new UI, it has several extra steps it didn't have before. It's long, it's annoying, and it gets on my nerves. I've heard complaints about the new Discord color as well. The old grey was perfect, it did the job. I've also heard from someone that the new animations made them sick, and there was no way to reduce the motions even more. That is a huge accessibility issue.

And personally – I miss the old search engine. I do. Finding images and links is easier now, but finding specific messages is harder. It's impossible to know who said what, now that the icons next to the message in the research bar doesn't indicate who sent the message. It's the same user icon in the research bar no matter what. It's annoying. Also, we used to be able to see the whole message before – now we just see bits and pieces ESPECIALLY when you search a specific word to find a specific message. If there are 300 messages with the word and you don't know the specific day you sent the message, it's impossible to find it quickly. I much prefer the research bar of the Discord desktop – which we HAD before on mobile and which was removed.

This new UI is annoying, slow, genuinely confusing, and a personal pain in my ass. I hope the old one is put back. Or at minimum, I hope we're given the option to choose our layout. If for some reason someone prefers the new layout, they can use this one. If someone prefers the old UI, they can use that one. Giving us the option to change it would be ideal.
