New UI update

i have a genuine question! 

i disabled automatic updates on my device to stop myself from being force fed garbage updates for apps i enjoy using unless they are verifed to not brick a phone or actually contain a good update. 

how on earth did you manage to update my discord app without permissions to do so on my device ?
is this allowed ?

  I have been hearing this happen to other people. I am not sure if there is any law against it, but if they update my app after turning off auto-updates I will be making a firm report to the app store I have the app from. I suggest you do the same and see if they can't walk-back the forced update.

  I'm sure its not illegal. however it does appear to not be ethical alot of people hate this new ui.
