This new UI is unnecessary---please bring back the old layout

I'm genuinely so upset with this new layout, the only good thing that's come from it is that I figured out midnight theme exists. But otherwise, there are no redeeming qualities.

1. The emoji I set in my status is showing up as an android emoji (and it gets cropped in the corner) instead of the usual standard discord emoji. It's pissing me off.

2. Why is the function to swipe to the left to see members of a group/server gone? no one needed the reply feature, at least make it an option to switch back to the old function

3. Everything is hard to navigate now--more is NOT better. Now the whole interface is just overcomplicated and it's a mess.

I guess I can say is the improved animations when switching between screens is nice and so is all the media files from a dm being in one place; However, most of this new UI is entirely unnecessary. Nobody asked for new layout, so what was the point of changing everything? This update is way too much. Please bring back the old layout!

    Agreed! The swipe function is so frustrating. It used to be so easy to see who was online or what bots were functional. DMs, pins, threads, and most of what I use Discord for is now extremely cumbersome and annoying to use.
