Whoever Designed the New UI Should be Fired
I've been using discord for about 6 years now and I even pay for discord nitro. There have been plenty of changes that I wasn't fond of like the new logo and new font. But I've never felt the need to leave actual feedback about it until this UI change. It is genuinely just so unintuitive for no reason. The last UI was just about peak and it got thrown away for this garbage? I really hope this change gets reversed but seeing as how Discord doesn't seem to listen to community feedback anymore this seems like it's not going away.
This is the first time that I'm genuinely considering stopping my nitro subscription just because this UI is that awful.

Completely agree. It's absolute garbage, it's honestly embarrassing that they let it go through, and even more so that they don't seem to be listening to feedback about it.

Designers and anyone approving it, fired and blacklisted from anything that even USES tech, let alone designs or builds anything hardware or software.

With new features seeming to be snuck into some odd places, I wouldn't be surprised if the new UI is intentionally bad so they can use it to hide shady shit like crypto mining or something.
