New Mobile Ui and the terrible no good very bad performance
Opening this with the obvious: THIS UI SUCKS. Continuing with the explanation: Discord was special cause of its UI, now it feels like every other social media app, are we going to get Reels and Shorts now too? Stories? This design choice has stripped discord of a defining part of its individuality. Why must we pander to new people coming from Instagram and Twitter, when we can simply stay the same because that’s what literally everyone wants? People are leaving other apps because of these kinds of things. Face it Discord, your nitro subscriptions dropped, your ratings dropped, make it an optional UI choice or something? This isn’t even touching on the horrible performance I and others have experienced. And let’s be honest here, this UI is butt ugly.
What can we do? Leave lower ratings on the Apple AppStore, Google Play, whatever you can. It’s not really an option for everyone but, cancel nitro subscriptions, upvote already shared UI concerns, post your own. They’ll listen eventually.

I totally agree together with many others on this, just check the reviews in google play for example. People are furious about this new update. It responds very slow, is hard to use and unintuitive compared to the previous version. Just very frustrating. I find absolutely no improvements in this version whatsoever.

summed it up perfectly. absolutely brainless change and i don't get it at all. it just feels like instagram now
