Keep active DM open when switching to servers

Look, I hate the new UI too, the dark dark mode sucks. But if I must live with it when using my phone instead of computer, can you at least keep the active DM open?

It's so obnoxious to have to go back a page, tap servers, tap the one I got pinged in, then have to go back another two pages to get to the friend I was talking to.

Old way was just swipe and tap. 2 steps. Now it's 4 and I hate it because I have to do it so often.
