Some suggestions for the new layout
Alot of discord users like the old UI than the new one. The old one was very simple and this one is kinda complex. I think discord said that they brought back the Swipe to View Member List, but still we can't swipe to view it, and yeah there's no setting for that too.
But when I saw searching for that setting, I found Launchpad settings, and I tried it and it was basically the notification pannel activated by a swipe.
I think that is unnecessary too…
Anyways these are some of my suggestions to make discord more mobile-friendly and more easy:
- add back the Swipe to View Member List
- Maybe make the replying system by like double tapping on the message?
Or make the Swipe to reply function work when we swipe on the message and make the Swipe to view member list work when we swipe on the right edge? Like the Launchpad system.
- or just bring back the old UI back, it is much easier and simple, also user friendly. The new one is way more complex I guess.
I hope discord will add these suggestions and make the app better!

Before designing the layout, clearly define the objectives and goals of the project. Consider the target audience, purpose of the layout, and key features or content to be included.
