Invalid email when changing email address

Today I changed the gmail on my Discord account to another gmail. Then, I reconsidered and I went to change back my Discord account's gmail to it's original gmail address but it said that the original gmail was invalid. I want to know if this is a bug on Discord's part or is it something else like a cool down period for using the same gmail address during email change in one day
