Proposal for a New Stories Feature on Discord

Dear Discord Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to propose an idea for a new feature that could enhance the user experience on Discord. The concept involves adding a "story-like" status option, similar to the stories feature found on Instagram. This would allow users to share temporary updates, images, or brief messages that automatically disappear after a certain period.

This feature could offer a more dynamic way for users to express themselves, share highlights, or engage with their communities in a more interactive manner. Additionally, it could enhance engagement on the platform by allowing users to keep their statuses fresh and relevant.

The feature would be free for all users, but for those who subscribe to Nitro, there could be an additional benefit: the ability to save their stories for everyone to view later. Of course, this option would only be available for Nitro subscribers.

I believe this addition would be a valuable enhancement to the Discord experience.
