Auto disconnect on discord phone app
I am oftenly with my girlfriend on discord we both go on the mobile. When someone not talking for a short he is automatically disconnected as a way to “save battery”. We don’t want that please add option to remove it. Because we are away from each other and oftenly we sleep with it connected at a fair distance when we sleep and suddenly we are disconnected if we don’t talk or there was no “voice input”. So we may be talking after some time and we won’t know that the other person is disconnected.
BTW add the notification sound when soneone joins or leaves the room on the phone like the computer.
I want that disconnecting thing to be turned off please. Just to say I have the AFK turned off on the server of me and my girlfriend alone only us there. And there is no AFK room. Only one room. Checked all the settings and there’s nothing on the phone to disable that auto disconnect. On the computer I can stay hours and hours away and will not be disconnected. On the phone this annoys me. Thank you.

We use discord for motorcycle rides. in Spotty connections it disconnects automatically then it doesn't auto connect. I wish it would have a feature to auto connect or always connect on voice chat.

Turning off the battery optimization for Discord app in the settings and turning off adaptive battery while you sleep should keep the connection open, according to Reddit. Going to try the same with my LDR, he was also having trouble with getting kicked off Discord when staying in the #sleep channel of our private Discord overnights on his new phone.

@Rawrish How would I go about doing that on IOS, bumping this thread because it still happens quite a lot.

@Phyre, turning off the battery optimization worked for us. He has an Android, I have an iPhone X. I have never had trouble with it kicking me off on my iPhone, even when I had older generations. Might check your power settings? Mine is set to not go to sleep unless I push the button, also. It does drop calls frequently if I don’t have good reception. Hope some of this helps! Don’t forget to make sure it isn’t the other side dropping the call.

I found out how to do it on Android :))) go to your battery and then optimized and then hit all apps and wait for a sec then it will show all our apps go down to discord and click on it and hit don't optimize have a good day :)
