"Message opened" system in DM and DM groups.

This has been requested already but it neglects to mention *where*. In the other ones, it mentions in servers too (bad for huge servers). In my opinion I think there should be a toggleable option in Text & Images that offers the user to know that someone read their message via DM or DM guild. Kind of based off of Facebook's Messenger "read" bubble, but it wont be required and will have user input (like iOS iMessage.)

    I believe this was a feature in the beginnings of discord

    I personally don't like this feature on any messenger. It removes any privacy and or invisibility you may want. If I want to ignore a message, not reply, but still read the message then this "Message Read" feature will only allow for harassment of the people reading the messages but not replying.

    some people want it 

    some dont

    i'd like it, and it'd be useful for both servers and dms

    but christ, just allow it as a toggle
