Reading past conversations

One thing I hate having to do on mobile is look for an old conversation purely because when I do, it only shows snippets at a time. Unlike when I’m on my pc it displays what I’ve looked up onwards and I can keep scrolling to read more of the past conversation. On mobile my only given option is “jump to chat” and there’s been tooooo many times where I’ve mistaken it as “jump to the chat section you’ve searched up...I was mistaken

    Just tried searching back through a conversation on mobile, I found clicking the message jumped me to that position, I don't understand the issue?

    Are you on iOS? It works for me on android and takes me to very old parts of the chat where I can read the whole convo but when I try it on my iOS device it just takes me to the channel where it shows the most recent messages rather than the old messages I wanted it to take me to.

    No. I’m saying it only shows a small PORTION of the surrounding conversation. Unlike on pc when I can keep scrolling down to see more of the messages.
