Option to disable updates on login.

My tablet doesn't have the latest update and I'd like to copy my installation over to my desktop so I can make it usable again. The problem is, it will just update upon logging in, so I need to disable updates.

Alternatively, as my tablet has usable discord open, is there a way I could create a snapshot of my tablet's RAM and processor state to load up in my desktop?
