Feature request: Decide Screen Sharing Orientation
I am using windows 10 and have a monitor with pivot function which means that when the display orientation in the windows settings (Settings > Display > Display Orientation > Portrait) is set to portrait, the entire screen will be turned vertically. I find this feature very helpful when coding or just browsing the web.
Having many conferences online, I have to often share my screen for code reviews or pair programming. However, with this function, people that are watching my screen do not see a nice full-screen landscape view. Instead it looks as if I am streaming my computer screen from a mobile device. In other words, it is very tedious for them to follow along because my screen shows up on their monitor vertically and has black bars to the sides.
I am not sure if this is possible but I wanted to propose a new feature where the user (in this case me) would be able to chose in which orientation the screen should be shared. This would mean that even though Windows on my computer is set to Portrait mode, I can still share my screen as if I were in Landscape mode so that the viewers can see my screen without noticing a thing. I do realize that this is probably not possible because of how the screen share functionality is implemented but I guess it's worth a shot. Would be awesome to have this feature for Linux too :)
Regards,
Fede.
