Spotify audio quality really bad when on discord (Android)

I had discord open on my android phone, waiting for some friends to get on, then decided to listen to spotify. The sound quality of spotify was dreadful. I closed discord and the quality was back to normal. It sounded tiny and just wrong. Didn't find any setting in discord, so I'm thinking this might be a bug. I have a moto z2 force.
