Watching your own screenshare

Whenever I try to screenshare on discord, some people say its super laggy while others say its fine.  I'm tired of people having different opinions so maybe if there was a way to open a different device to see how laggy your stream actually is.  It wouldn't count as another person in the vc because you would just be watching your own stream.
