Addition of role colours for server management, introducing the perspective of Colour Universal Design
Colourblindness is a non-general color vision that affects 1 in 10 in France and Scandinavia (1 in 20 men in Japan).
The proportion of men who are colorblind is about half to about the same as the frequency of left-handed people in the total population, which is by no means small.
For many of us, colour blindness is one of the most common physical disabilities.
Discord is a service that is used by many people. Discord is a service used by many people, and because it's aimed at gamers, it's likely to be used by many men.
Therefore, Discord's users are likely to include a large number of people with colour blindness.
There are also people on my server who are red-green colorblind.
In order to make the server more comfortable for all users, I have decided to readjust the role colours that were already in place.
However, Discord's colour palette for roles is very limited, especially in terms of saturation, so it was not possible to create a colour scheme that would be easy to see for all users, both colorblind and colorblind.
This has probably been a secret concern for many Discord users over the years.
Non-compliance with Colour Universal Design (CUD) is not a matter of "lack of consideration for minorities", it is a barrier full design with practical inconveniences.
Could you please add to the palette for roll colours a range of colours that can be used comfortably by both general colour vision and various types of colourblind people?
Here are some references in Japanese. Please refer to them as appropriate.
It would also be great if you could add reference material in languages other than Japanese, such as English.
