Using discord on mobile leads to weird voice channel behavior

I forgot to leave a voice channel > then I went idle on desktop version of discord and turned off my computer. It automatically removed me from that voice channel, which is what I would expect. However, later when I opened discord app on my android phone it threw me back into that voice channel, then when I closed the mobile app it threw me out etc. this happened a few times. It seems like using the mobile app assumes you're back on?
