Mobile Overlay Feels Too Cluttered

I don't often update my apps and for good reason as in the past it feels whenever I update my apps they always mess with things that don't need to be messed with and more often then not when they do change something it often feels for the worse.

This latest mobile overlay feels way to cluttered and like they are trying to squeeze every little thing they can into the mobile app when a lot of it could just stay on the desktop version or better yet just not be included at all, every button I press will bring up a keyboard which takes up half the screen and requires more than two click to get rid of which is down right infuriating, so infuriating that I am legit as we speak uninstalling the app just to reinstall a older version of the discord app apk off a website because it legit feels like this latest update makes the mobile app feel like a pain to use not to mention with half things causing performance issues and causing the app to crash.

Listen I understand trying to innovate and keep things fresh but when you are legit changing the discord layout every month at least give us a option to keep the old layout until you guys can settle on a proper design without deciding next month it needs a overhaul.

All I want to do amidst this lockdown is be able to talk to my friends that I can't go visit when walking around the house and it feels like I can't even do that and it's just depressing. Please revert the changes, even if not permanently just long enough to where you guys can get it looking clean and not a cluttered mess.
