Have to tab out and click on discord to see friends screenshare

I have the problem that when my someone starts screensharing or starting their webcam, I have to tab out of the game and click into discord to make the stream actually appear. If I dont do this it will only show their Avatar with a crossed camera symbol.

Since today, my screenshare does not even appear for me at all anymore. It will always show my avatar with a crossed camera symbol.

I dont want to have to always tab out of games, especially since I play old DOS games. These tend to crash when you do so.

    still no option to disable this stupid "feature." i have no idea why anyone would voluntarily use this. there's nothing worse than having to tab out in the middle of an action packed moment to turn on somebody's camera and the game fucking crashes.

    Same problem here, tabbing out to get cams to show up is very annoying
