Personal call in voice chat

 Good time of day, I want to turn with one moment that could improve communication in voice chat rooms.

 Imagine sitting in a voice chat, there are 30 people in it, people communicate with each other, everything is culturally and there are no problems. However, you want to say something to one participant of this voice chat, but you cannot, since someone else starts talking and let you not be able to contact the person immediately, but this causes some difficulties.

 What is it? How will it help? How will this work in practice?

  1.  These are calls that get one voice chat participant from you. Similarly, in a large company, you can simply approach a person and tell him something and his attention will be drawn to you, and in Discord and in general voice chats, due to technical limitations, there is practically no such possibility.

  2.  This is useful in that it allows users to communicate more easily among themselves and in a large company pay attention to each other. People will be able to actually feel in a large company, where they can communicate with everyone and among themselves.

  3.  In practice, this is easy to organize using the "Priority Mode" - a mode where one user can contact everyone, while at the same time users reduce the volume of microphones for everyone. A person clips the key (for example, "Tab," but it is certainly better to let the users themselves tune as convenient as anyone), points the cursor to a certain user in his voice chat and can only speak to him in priority mode. Naturally, for servers/voice channels, such a function should be turned on (it is important that it can be turned off, because it can not be convenient for everyone), as well as for users, nevertheless, people are different.

    This was while back the most requested feature, a capability to speak to specific individual or group in the channel.

    I just came back to forum to check what is its status, and it can't be found anywhere. 

     

    In other softwares it is called "whisper" or "priority" or such. 

    Some people here confuse it to "cross channels speaking" but it is not that. 

     

    We need ability to bind a unique buttons (like F1-F12) to given people. So when we press and hold that button, we can speak directly that one. When we release the button, then we return to default speak mode to all (be it voice or button activated). 

     

    This is requirement for even small group of people playing together, like 3-10 where we can just have good group communications.

    It would as well be allowed to be over channels if so.
