Windows Desktop App Won't Stay Resized

The desktop app takes up too much of my screen real estate while I'm working, and when I resize it to the smallest possible size the app will size itself back to a larger, which takes a portion of the app off my screen.

I'd love to see the window be able to be resized even smaller than the current locked in smallest size, but since the window won't stay that size when I do make it that small, it is annoying.
