Adding a user-specific profanity filter

I've done some searching through the feedback relating to a profanity filter. What I'm looking for can't be fixed with a bot. I would like to suggest a profanity filter which acts on a user, not on a server; something which a user can turn on in their profile to filter out profanity on their screen. Yes, I know that there are bots to do that in a server, but a lot of people are part of servers they aren't admins on. I'm referring to a setting that censors their servers just for them. Only people who have the setting turned on won't see the profanity, and anyone who has it turned off can see it. I've had people tell me to "grow up", or to just leave the server, but at the end of the day, you have your opinion and I have mine. I have servers that I love being apart of, I just don't care to see f-bombs and other profanity every time I go there.
