Announcer Voice Channel

I would love to see a feature added for a elevated (role) user to be able to join a master voice channel of sorts, where lets say everyone in a category can hear the user in the announcer channel and he can choose to hear them. The announcer can even choose which (sub) channels can hear him using mic mute and deafen buttons. 
This would be sooo useful for online board / card game nights, trivia, D&D, even eSports type usage. 
I've made a quick little mockup image showing what I'm talking about. 
I can't tell you how many times I've wished Discord could do this.
