Customization of discord panels

This is really irritating to see all the channels list and member role panel. It takes a lot of space. It would be comfortable if discord adds a feature to hide panels so that we can view what we want. I want to have more free space when I chat with my friends and also running some other applications while using discord in split screen. Discord really takes a lot of screen space to actually work properly which is kinda annoying
