Threads, mobile vs PC

I find the new thread feature on mobile to greatly outshine its PC counterpart. It is so much more intuitive, the threads are much more easily managed and easier for servermembers to find and use. Why do the threads have a separate window on pc? Why do they dissappear from the channels list when leaving the thread? Etc. I would really like to see the mobile variant used on PC aswell. Thanks! :)
