Thiis software is crazy and the "help" is nonexistant.
Discord was recommended to our group. I'm trying to investigate it's suitability.
It says you can use it in a web browser. That just leads to a download page, and running that leads to a captcha. Twelve ignored attempts later, still trying to try discord, I sent a support ticket. Support emailed me saying they won't help.
Sorry, is this "closed" software? Do you have too many users or something? I guess I can strike Discord off the list.

well, trying to get a ticket to stay open to get a response is a challange, it just keeps closing with "solved" despite nothing being done.
I get bombarded with emails too, but they don't contain any solutions, just "contact us if you want more help" - so far I've yet to get any help at all

I cannot for life of me understand why discord help just mark each ticket "solved" but do nothing.
Do you not what new users/customers?

you're not alone. alot of people are having the same issues. ive never seen a platform with such awful support before, this is definitely the worst i dont get how discord is still popular at all when its entirely ran by bots, they dont care about the users at all unless you pay for nitro, or you try to sue. otherwise most of the time they'll ignore you or respond with a random copy and pasted message.

Discord is worth 5 Billion Dollars, they should spend some of that money on fixing their goddamn customer service, because the current customer service is not a service in its current form, it’s a customer disservice!

Thanks for the comments. I'm still stuck in a endless capcha loop and finally someone asked for a video. Not sure why they can't understand what a capta loop is but at least it's a response.
I actually qualified to teach computers, hence I was chosen to see which software we'd roll with. I can tell you now, it sure heck ain't discord, there's plenty of other programs out there, which actually DO work! AND are supported.

to be clear they will sometimes delete/disable brand new discord accounts

also be careful on how many tickets you open. You will likely hit their spam filter. I'd recommend making a different email address just for Discord and make an account. You would be better off with that

So let me get this straight; from my attempt to understand, there are no non-bots running Discord?
