Disabled Discord Account
Hi,
I've used Discord for over 6 years and never had any problems ever with their ToS.
I got banned because I essentially "spammed" people by DMing a large amount of people messages, I was trying to get back the old members of a gaming community that they were in and asking if they were interested in coming back to play the game.
So out of no where when I sent one last DM the message went red and I got logged out, I am incredibly disappointed that Discord doesn't have a better anti-spam system that considers other factors of an account, or at least warn a person that they are messaging too many people before actually disabling their account.
I had read many forum posts everywhere about people having issues such as this, but they had very little luck contacting actual customer support from Discord. It seems to be very odd how a multi-million dollar company such as Discord doesn't invest enough in making their customers happy, we give them data so that they can make profit out of it but we can't get good customer service, and instead are messaged back by bots.
I remember a couple of years ago Discord had exceptional customer service and would usually always reply back within a day by a real human, now it seems to be bots that send a standardised message to questions it understands.
If anyone has anything positive to say such as Discord reactivating your account, or maybe Discord using a human to reply to tickets tell me. It will give me a sense of hope that I've been waiting for.
I hope Discord can learn from doing this malpractice and instead make their customers happy and willing to come back again.
