Boot of Discord [Metaphorical]
This is going to be a long one, cause today of all days has happened where my luck ran out entirely.
Context: tl;dr -- Created a ticket, got ignored and the trust/safety team decided it was solved. Full information is given here. Even going as far as to even disable my own account, not even telling me of the reasoning like they usually do. They just have decided that my account deserved to be suspended.
In case that repost gets deleted, I have the pictures saved. Though I wanted to bring information regarding my situation. I couldn't personally believe the staff team was so terrible to outright disable my account just because I called them out. Although the team is 1/2 of humans, there was bound to be a greedy play here.
Still, I didn't expect this to ever happen. For my account to be disabled, for multiple tickets to suddenly say solved when it is indeed not, and for no explanation of the policy regarding "Distribution or Theft of Paywalled content" the entire journey of this of my account being banned.
If a helper is reading this, I really hope you check out this entire scenario I was forced into. Since this entire situation is a real pain in the neck.
If not and just someone randomly stumbled upon my post. Here are my two cents on everything I went through.
+ A period of ten days of waiting as I've researched. They usually came towards me on days six and seven but for others that could be longer. They always claim that they have high reports of approvals.
+ There is a need to be very specific with your problem and try to write well and neat so they can understand you. That is obvious. Though it's for you as well, so when they check your approval they can get right to the problem instead of jumbling around.
+ They will gloss over you if they just decide so, the Trust & Safety team is small as I've heard. So they will take their precision well and decide that if someone's appeal is a "big problem" they will avoid it. Though I could be wrong, this is hypothetical.
+ Try to keep a peaceful attitude and a neat image as they will surely be looking in the forums. Being the deciding factor of appealing to you based on your behavior. Though it can only go as far. If they decide you're a problem just by buggering them, you will have your forum account suspended like me.
+ Only a few people have advice, be sure to look for them well. One of them involved @President OM as they have helped me greatly. A few others would be, @Comrade Doge as well as @KashInc7. Please don't bother them so much in your conquest!
+ The possibility of your ticket being responded to with a bot is likely high as the Trust & Safety team is said to be short-staffed as said earlier in my post. So it shouldn't be expected when they decide to outright ignore it and send a bot.
These are all the tips I have to give or rather my "two cents" to give in this situation. Overall help from the users was more than from the staff itself. I never expected support staff to be this terrible and undermanaged. I really do hope they fix this in the future.
