Proper Cloning of Forum Channels
When I clone a forum channel it doesn't include duplicating over any of these properties
- Post Guidelines
- Tags
- Default Reaction
- Slowmode
- Sort Order
- Age-Restricted Channel
- Hide After Inactivity
Quite a few tags I have are universal across the forum channels I have and it would've been nice to not have to enter the same tag over and over. Perhaps even a copy/paste feature if you're feeling nice :)
You could even go as far as to implement a more general solution that can work on any channel type where the individual properties to copy over to the new channel can be selected via checkbox.

Currently the clone option is quite misleading and useless. I thought this would be the default behavior and after looking further into it stumbled upon this.
It feels like the clone option was very lazily made. Cloning a channel should copy all of the properties of the cloned channel, rather than just permissions and whatever else it might be copying.
This should be a really easy fix for the Discord developers; I am really surprised this hasn't been fixed yet.

Please allow this to happen! It would be so much better, now is actually quite useless

Came here to post about this. I just set up a forum with all the things you mentioned with the plan and expectation to duplicate it across to seven different groups of channels. NO LUCK! To my bafflement NONE of the Forum settings appear to have copied over… maybe the permissions, but set to default anyway so don't know.
This just boggles me mind, I am guessing the duplicate feature was made for anything but forums channels, and existed before forum channels did. It's about time this got updated though, as it as mentioned breaks at least my expectations.
