In app notifications

It would be nice if the in app pop-up along the top only covered only half the side of the screen (preferably right). Could make options for maybe top/bottom and half/whole right or left. I regularly unintentionally tap a notification that pops up because my finger is in route to touch the screen where the pop-ups happen.
