[Bug] Video Calls Freezing and Voice Calls Dropping (and other complaints)

Video calls are freezing on Android, they work fine for 20-40 seconds but then the video of the other people freezes. I can fix it my minimizing/maximizing the call or closing and opening the app but it always freezes again within a minute. I contacted support and they had me try the beta app which fixed it temporarily but it's back again.

Then they told me to come here and "vote for the issue" which led to a whole other realm of issues: this feedback site is a disaster, you can't search by a subject and see recent, for some reason it shows search results in a seemingly random order with no option to sort. Maybe a post to vote to fix these exists somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it, and that's the whole point of this paragraph, it shouldn't be so hard to find.

Also all of the trouble shooting guides for video issues tell you to go to "voice & video" in settings on the app, which does not exist anymore, I also asked support about that, multiple times, and they answered every other question except that, so I have no idea where the app video settings went and no one will tell me either. It's not just me, my friends can't find video settings in the app anymore either.

Another issue support ignored (literally right after asking if I had any further questions) was about calls dropping, there won't be any leave sound or any indicator from discord I've left the call, the only way I know is if someone was talking, or someone sends me a text saying I left the call.

Discord has worked wonderfully for me for the two years I've actively used it but these past few months have been one problem after another and looking through the feedback here, I'm not the only one feeling that way.

I sent another support email saying similar to what I've said here, doubt any actual change will come of either but at least I've tried.

    Same problem with the video calls. Audio is fine but video CONSTANTLY AND CONSISTENTLY FREEZES.

    To anyone who wants to workaround this until Discord devs do their job, downgrading to 126.21 resolved the freezing issues for me. Just remember to go the the Play store and disable auto-updates on the Discord app
