Feature Request - Shadow Join VC

So the way my friends and I use discord is that we'll often times just hangout in voice chat alone until someone else on the server sees that one of us is online and in voice chat.  At which point they'll join the chat and hey, now we're having fun.

But being in a voice chat alone is a little annoying.  You have to break out your headset and wear it. (We're not sure if anyone will even join that day)

Wouldn't it be great if I could show my friends I'm online and ready to hangout without actually needing to commit to the headset until everyone's ready? 

Introducing Shadow Voice Chat!

This allows me to show in voice chat (as a faded icon of my profile pic, so others know I may not reply immediately).  The moment someone else joins the chat I receive essentially an incoming call sound so I know to switch over into real chat.
