Mic issues mobile

Earlier for mobile I was having issues with my microphone, when I spoke my green circle would show but for the other side nothing happened, supposedly they said that not even my green circle wouldn't even show up, but on my side everything appeared normal accept for them not hearing me. if this helps resolves things is that I am using an LG v30 with Android 9 version H93230d and kernel version 4.4.153 although I don't think it had to do with the platform because it I had used an Iphone 7 classic with IOS 15.7.3, on the other side my friend is using a Samsung Galaxy A13 with an unknown OS and an unknown kernel version.
