What on earth are you dinguses doing; do NOT change the usernames
Whats with the stream of horrible changes recently? First the color changes, then the image mosaics (which are still not toggleable by the way), the useless super reactions, and now this? STOP TRYING TO MAKE DISCORD LIKE OTHER APPS. You're literally consistently making the app more miserable, the only update as of late that I've liked is the recent increase to the file size limit, which was long overdue.
This username system is so incredibly vile, I was already upset I had to make one of these stupid 'handles' for my Youtube channel, but now for discord? Don't you guys understand that you had a perfect niche app for gamers? This thing isn't instagram, stop making these horrible decisions, a single look at these forums tell me that I'm not alone in this, but I'm also getting the vibe that you guys are so absolutely sure you've made the right decisions lately, because despite the backlash I see in here, none of these changes have been reverted...

Yeah - all this USELESS stuff that nobody asked for. I genuinely don't understand why they keep doing this. It must be the investors pressuring them, because no one in their right mind would do this to their userbase and their business.

I honestly like the new image embed system, though, takes up so much less space. But otherwise yeah, it's just bad decision after bad decision.1
