Searching messages sent by a deleted user using "from:"

Apparently you can't do this! Even if you do "from:<123useridhere456>" in the search bar, it just doesn't work.

But the messages are still there! And if you use keywords that the deleted user sent, they do appear in the search results. They aren't gone or anything.

So my suggestion is just... please allow this? /shrug

  I don't know much information about your Q!!!  Go to your Pending friend Requests, and click the 3 dot menu (tap and hold for mobile) click the "message" option and all your DMs should be back. the user's name will appear as "deleted user" but it will show the specific deleted user name (like Deleted User 4f75c3d) at the top of the page.    prepaidgiftbalance.com
