Suppressing @everyone

It would be very, very helpful to have a way to simply disable @everyone mentions for all servers. While you could go through each one of your servers to disable it one by one, having blanket control over it would be incredibly convenient. If someone wants to get my attention specifically, they can tag me, or at most use @here. Mentioning everyone is usually used for things that I have absolutely no interest in, and only serves as a reminder that I forgot to turn it off in a specific server.

    You could go in DND mode if you dont want to receive ANY mentions whatsoever, but that's not what you need.

    I agree that people should have finer control on notifications:

    • 1) General notifications for all servers
    • Server specific notifications (those already exist, but need more specifics)
    • 2) specific control over different types of roles like @everyone, @here @me
