Option to send lower quality pictures

Every time I take a picture on my phone and send it, it's like 4 MB and because of my shitty internet it sends really slowly. Can there be an option to either take pictures in the app in lower quality or to send pictures in lower quality straight from my phone? That would be really cool

  Hello! I would probably just take the photo with the normal picture app, and then either take the photo in lower quality, or wait for a faster connection before sending the picture.
