Account Banned, and Deleted for a mistake.
I'm going to keep this simple. The account i'm contacting on is an alt of mine, and this issue is regarding an account which since been deleted. I made a new account under the same email, though i'm not able to log into the support site with said account.
The official reason for the disabling? 'Payment Fraud.'
Except... not really. I had been paying for Discord Nitro for five years, and recently the card that I had been paying it with had gotten stolen. As anybody would say it's my first instinct to disable the card, and I did.
However, what I didn't anticipate was my bank stepping in with a false 'I got you bro.' move and deciding to charge back every... charge, on the account within the past seven days of my ban. This applies to the Nitro Charge, as I was banned a couple days after the 1st.
Immediately, I contacted both my bank, and paypal to sort it out. I told them the charge under 'Discord Nitro' was a valid charge, and to release, or otherwise dismiss the dispute. They did, it did not go through as far as i'm concerned. As soon as this was done. I contacted support to tell them that the dispute was dismissed and the funds had gone through.
I got an answer, and that answer was simply...
'We have found your account to be in violation of payment fraud resulting in the permanent disabling of your account.'
After that? They never responded back, after the countless tickets i've put in.
I knew the account was still alive, just disabled... so I sent in more tickets, contacted their Twitter... so on. Nothing.
And then, since yesterday? The account was deleted. I've fixed the issue Discord. I would've paid double of what I owed. You didn't lose anything. I didn't try to scum out $10 out of the hundreds i've been paying over the years. Your Trust & Safety team hardly acknowledged my existence, especially on an account that was as old as Discord itself.
