I have been using discord for my business and I got obsessed I see so many possibilities that I am not sure if the Discord business board is aware of how powerful and helpful discord could be for business disruption. I have used slack and many other platforms and there is no one better for remote work or team work than Discord. Discord is the future of the real estate on internet. My team has been working in discord for two weeks and we feel more comfortable to work remotely than ever we did in the office. All of us have our own office by using a voice channel. If you need to talk with some one you just jump in the channel and If needed easily call for a quick meeting. We also have co-working channels where we gather to work in a project. Most of the time we are quite, but when some one needs something he just have to turn the mic on and ask for it. Even better than in the office. We have a text channel for each project, chat or milestone. And when we need to discuss something we just jump and chat there. We managed to connect each channel with our working issues board from giitlab and know we are more organized than ever. In one of the channels we have some leisure bots to spend some playing together. We have some video channels where we invite some clients to have our meetings there. And we use text channes to welcome them or write down the commitments. I am not really a gamer but I have been a business man for 20 years. I just wish Discord see this huge opportunity, because a platform like this could be easily bigger than zoom or slack. I will wait finger crossed and aware for the IPO.
