App for Xbox

My guess is that Microsoft and Sony won't allow a 3rd party chat app on their systems or else Discord would be on them already. I don't think there are any 3rd party chat applications on the systems, so that's the only logical thing I can think of.
But yeah, would definitely be nice since Discord is way better quality than Xbox party chat.

Skype is still in the Microsoft store so idk why they would be getting push back

on ps4 there is a method to stream the game to discord on pc. A friend of mine does this every now and then and showed us The Last of Us 2.
I would like the same thing for the xbox series S.Then ok, talk there is their chat, there is skype (which I do not use to play but for business conferences). But then I can't talk and show my friends what I'm doing on xbox.
If discord stands for PC (So microsoft), they could do it on Xbox too and make an awesome Xbox / PC system. One thing that Sony cannot do with only the Console, while Microsoft has PC and Xbox and can combine the two (not so much for games, that's why there is the GamePass which is a fantastic thing)0 -
Discord is not the same as Microsoft. Discord is a 3rd party application that has nothing to do with Microsoft.
