Enhancement for the reply feature

I have tested the reply feature a little bit now and especially in text chats with a lot of conversations going on it does not help to follow an internal discussion while something else is going on.

I think the way Slack has inplemented this with the Threads is much better. For everyone not familiar with Slack here is how this works:

You click on the three dots on a message you want to talk about seperatly and click "Reply in Thread". On the right side where you usually see the members of the current chat channel you now see the message and can reply to it. You can now have a conversation inside the thread and also others can join as well and you have all the messages of this thread separated from the main channel. It is not possible to have a thread of a thread but you can post importent messages back to the main channel. Beside that you can do everything you can do in a text channel like posting pictures, reactions etc.

In the main channel you also see underneath the original message pictures of all participants of the thread and how many messages there are e.g. "2 replies". Clicking on this will open the thread on the right hand side just as explained above and will show the full history of the messages in the thread. So you can follow what others have already written and can reply as well.
