Desktop Notification Popup disappears too quickly

Can we have it that the amount of time it takes until the desktop notification popup disappears is customizable, or at least not 3 seconds? (this is on Windows 7, by the way.)
Ideally we could keep it where it is for either 30 seconds or a toggle, but not 3 seconds, it's way too quick, and often you'll miss the notification.
(Edit: this may be a bug, I'm not certain.)

  I'm having the same problem. I cannot read them - they disappear too quickly.

  Same problem here. They could be useful or helpful tips, but I can never read them to find out… they appear & disappear almost simultaneously, far too quickly to read.

  Same problem here.  If I'm not at the PC, I won't be able to even see what server they came from before disappearing.  It would be really nice if there was a log.

  The notifications should stay indefinitely, so:

  1. we can read them later,
  2. click on them to open the selected message,
  3. or swipe them away,

  as we do on our mobile devices.
